Plimsolls are ideal for summer and the warmer months (it also helps if it is drier when wearing plimsolls!) and are the perfect choice of footwear for juts throwing on with any outfit. Plimsolls are available from loads of high street shops and also from plenty of online retailers. You can pick up a pair of men’s plimsolls from as little as £5 for an unbranded (but perfectly wearable) pair. For a bit extra though (and not always much extra) you can pick up a pair of designer men’s plimsolls from brands such as Nanny State, Vans and Converse.
If you are looking for plimsolls online then I would point your browser in the direction of ReemClothing.com as these guys have loads of great footwear options and they have just got on Facebook, so check ‘em out as there are some good offers through their Facebook page.
But back to footwear!!! I love plimsolls but they aren’t for everyone and if you’re not a convert yet then are plenty of other trainers out there, with retro style trainers being massive at the moment. I recommend you try on a pair of Onitsuka Tiger Mexico trainers and then try and take them off, once you’ve got these on they’re coming home with you… honestly these trainers are awesome.
I have also been surprised by the trainers from Boxfresh… number 1 I didn’t know that Boxfresh produced trainers and number 2 they are a really cool cross-breed of plimsolls and trainers. The Fungo 2 trainers are the pair that caught my eye looking good in light grey… I can imagine these going well with a pair of jeans and a t-shirt for a simple summer outfit.
